I arranged a weeks sailing (in June 2009) with several of my old school friends all of whom happened to be experienced yachtsmen, we had a fantastic time which we will repeat in 2010. It was a great experience bearing in mind that nearly half a century had passed since we had all boarded at Kings and lived in close proximity. I am deeply indebted to you and George without whom we would never had such a great time.

My yacht 'Cobalt' is a Moody 30 which has six berths (if you are very friendly); she is getting on now but is a go anywhere vessel. She is berthed at Gillingham marina on the Medway. During the week in question we sailed around the Medway and the Thames estuary areas, next time we aim to go up the east coast maybe as far as Southwold - time, weather etc permitting.
